Reports filed with the Franklin Police Department may be public record. Requests for inspection or duplication are granted in accordance with Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 10, Chapter 7, Part 5. Requests for copies of reports/records must be submitted HERE. Confidential information will be redacted before copies are provided or inspection permitted.

Tennessee Code Annotated 10-7-503 provides citizens of the State of Tennessee the right to access records under the Tennessee Public Records Act. The Franklin Police Department only provides Tennessee citizens access to public records maintained by the Franklin Police Department; proof of residency required.

For an individual Officer: THE OFFICER’S NAME c/o Franklin Police Department, at 900 Columbia Avenue | Franklin, Tennessee. * This will be required to be handed directly to the officer that the subpoena is titled for.
