Deputy Chief Butler joined the Franklin Police Department in 1997. Serving as a Patrol Officer, Sergeant, and Lieutenant, Deputy Chief Butler now leads the Department's Patrol/Field & Special Operations Division. He holds two associate degrees in General Studies and Criminal Justice, a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a master's degree in Criminal Justice Administration. Butler is also a graduate of the TACP Chief Executive Leadership Development Program.
