The Franklin Department of Planning and Sustainability's mission is to improve the Franklin built environment, while promoting the conservation of both the environment and historic resources through effective and efficient use of plans and regulations. Per the U.S. Postal Service National Delivery Planning Standards, a Guide for Builders and Developers, published December 12, 2017, developers and builders must notify the USPS Growth Manager to determine appropriate method of delivery. Most new development will be required to utilize centralized mail delivery receptacles.
