The new Southeast Municipal Complex Park is in the planning process. The park is a total of 180 acres between South Carothers and Interstate 65. Seventy three acres are in the floodway, 69 acres are in the 100 year floodplain, and 38 acres are out of the floodway. Below are two design concepts for the park including the area reserved for the future water reclamation facility. On February 5, 2018 the City held a public meeting asking for input. The deadline for suggestions is February 20, 2018. If you would like to submit your choice of concept, or any suggestions please email here SEMunicipalPark@BargeDesign.com
