SENIOR BINGO

Tuesdays in March, 2pm

The City of Franklin Parks Department will be offering senior bingo again this year!  Bingo cards and light refreshments will be provided. To pre-register, please call the Programming Team at 615.794.2103.

Join us each week at 9:00am as we take a leisurely walk through many of our beautiful Franklin Parks!  Walking group will meet weather permitting.

 

KIDS ART FESTIVAL OF TENNESSEE

Saturday, March 30, 10am-2pm
Pinkerton Park, 405 Murfreesboro Road

We welcome all Tennessee K-12th grade artists to apply to display your original pieces in this juried exhibit.  We will accept and include a wide variety of art pieces in multi-media platforms.  Winning pieces will be displayed at City Hall in downtown Franklin throughout the summer months.  This event includes stage performers who can act, sing, play an instrument or write poetry!  Click here for the 2019 performance application.  Attendees will have fun with many hands on workshops and more!  Click here for more info.

 

ARBOR DAY

The City of Franklin Parks Department along with the Franklin Tree Commission invites you to celebrate Arbor Day with us.  Please join us for tons of fun in the trees with opportunities in tree climbing,  kids’ activities, food, information and free tree saplings.

TOUCH A TRUCK

Friday, May 17, 5pm-8pm
Jim Warren Park, 705 Boyd Mill Avenue

Trucks, tractors, machines, police cars and more!  Enjoy entertainment, music and bounce houses!  Food trucks will be onsite for purchase. There will be a "No Horn Hour" from 5pm-6pm for the little ones!  Trucks, equipment, and vehicles of all shapes and sizes will gather at Jim Warren Park where children of all ages, with parent supervision, will be welcome to touch, climb-on, and explore these amazing pieces of equipment.  Music, inflatables and fun will also be available at this free family event.  Food will also be available for purchase.  Fire trucks, police cars, tractors, back hoes, tow trucks, and more! Fishin' on the Farm

FLASHLIGHT CANDY CANE HUNT

Friday, December 13, 2019, 5pm & 7pm
Eastern Flank Battlefield Park, 1368 Eastern Flank Circle
The grounds of Eastern Flank Battlefield Park are sprinkled with candy canes ready to be eaten...grab your flashlight and help us hunt for the holiday treats! Kids will decorate treat bags for their candy canes before the hunt. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served. Participants must bring a flashlight, and all other supplies will be provided. Feel free to dawn a festive outfit for the event! This event is limited to 100 participants and pre-registration & entry fee will be required.  Registration begins November 4, 2019.
