Stay vigilant to prevent drowning and pool accidents

These 4 simple tips can save a child's life:
  1. Always SUPERVISE children in or near pools, spas, and water.Swimming pool
  2. CREATE BARRIERS such as fences, gates and door locks around the water near your home.
  3. Teach your child to swim.  SWIM LESSONS give children basic survival skills.
  4. BE PREPARED for an emergency - know CPR, and have a phone near the pool.

CPR can mean the difference between life and death

In a child drowning emergency it’s critical to start CPR immediately in order to restore oxygen to the child's brain.  CPR can mean the difference between life and death.  Take a FREE CPR class this summer, courtesy of the Franklin Fire Department.  View the schedule here.
