Fire Investigation

If you have information about an intentionally-set fire, you could earn a reward of up to $1,500 from the Tennessee Advisory Committee on Arson and the Tennessee State Fire Marshal's Office.  Call the Tennessee Arson Hotline number at 1-800-762-3017.

You can also text your anonymous arson-related tips to Franklin Police by texting the keyword 615FPD, along with your message, to 8147411 (TIP411).

The Franklin Fire Department is responsible for conducting investigations to determine the origin and cause of fires occurring in the city.

Investigations are performed by Certified Fire and Explosion Investigators who work closely with detectives from the Franklin Police Department when there is reason to believe a fire is the result of arson.
