The payroll staff also transmits payments and produces the following: quarterly reports for 941 IRS withholding forms, various deductions for optional life and health insurance, various other deductions required by law, and reporting of employee contributions to 401(a), 457 and retiree health investment plans.

In FY 2019-2020, there are 748 full-time and 29 part-time/seasonal approved positions. Most employees are paid bi-weekly; elected and appointed officials are paid monthly.  All employees are paid by direct deposit.  

The City prepared 19,569 payments between July 2018 - June 2019 to 813 employees of almost $31 million in net pay as shown below:
