Margaret Wilson, Director

I have worked at the City since August 2018. Beginning as a Financial Analyst, then promoted to Financial Manager in November 2020, and then again promoted to Finance Director in February 2024. Prior to working for the City, I wan an Accountant at The Grove and several medical based companies. 

In February 2024, I completed the Certified Public Finance Officer program through GFOA.  Prior to that, in 2021, I completed the Certified Municipal Finance Officer certification through the State of Tennessee.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my two kids and husband attending martial arts with the kids, hiking as a family, and serving with our church.  We are a homeschool family who enjoys the flexibility of having school on site at many historical sites around Tennessee during the year.
