Available Funding for Nonprofit Agencies from the City of Franklin
Nonprofit Funding Program
The City of Franklin values the work that our community nonprofit organizations provide and takes pride in our ability to remit funds to further increase their impact.
We encourage our local nonprofit organizations (501C3, 501C6, and 501c4) to apply for a funding allocation for their organization. Applications for the following fiscal year will be available on this page by February. In April/May of each year, our Board of Mayor and Aldermen will determine the amount of funds that they are able to distribute amongst all applicants. As this determination is after the collection period for applications, we strongly encourage organizations to apply for the fund level they feel they need. Actual organization funding allocations are at the discretion of the Board with some applicants receiving approval for full funding, some for partial funding, and some will not receive funding approval.
The Fiscal Year 2025-2026 application deadline is March 7, 2025. Applications submitted past this deadline will not be accepted.
Evaluation considerations
- How much of an impact does this organization have on the community as a whole?
- Are funds projected to be spent in accordance with State of Tennessee TCA 6-54-111?
- Does the City of Franklin provide any other support (financial or other) to the entity?
- Does the entity receive any other additional financial support?
