*New-The City of Franklin has undertaken a study for a master plan for transportation mobility in our area. We invite everyone who lives, works, or spends time in Franklin to participate in the Franklin Transit Master Plan.

The three program areas of Franklin Transit are as follows:
- Franklin Transit Authority provides fixed-route transportation service and Transit On Demand curb-to-curb transportation service 6 days a week throughout Franklin. The public transit service is operated and managed by The TMA Group on behalf of the Franklin Transit Authority.
- VanStar is the regional rideshare solution that connects people who work in the same area, live in the same area and share similar work schedules. TMA offers online ride-marching commuter services aimed at eliminating congestion, saving commuters money and improving air quality.
- WeGo (in Nashville) operates express coach bus service to and from Nashville.
