Post Date:06/03/2020 4:04 PM

Beginning on Wednesday, June 3rd, the public areas of all City facilities will be open from 8 a.m. - until 1 p.m.  Monday – Friday, or by appointment.

Entry into City Hall will be limited to doors off Third Ave South and the entrance between the building and the Second Ave Parking Garage.  Public restrooms inside City Hall will also be open from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., Monday – Friday.

Last week, the City of Franklin opened more Park amenities including select athletic fields at Jim Warren Park and Fieldstone Park and additional restroom facilities.   The Parks Department is also now accepting pavilion rentals with a maximum of 50 people. Other Park amenities that opened earlier this month include tennis courts, dog parks, equestrian trails, batting cages, and the Skate Park.

The City continues to follow guidelines set by the State and by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  Re-opening phases will be evaluated every two weeks or if conditions or circumstances allow them to be done sooner.

Online services are still available (and encouraged) 24 hours a day via the City’s website (www.FranklinTN.gov).
