Up-to-Date City information can be found at www.FranklinTN.gov/Covid-19.

Franklin, TN – As our world continues to cope with the impact of the Covid-19 global pandemic, federal, state, and local authorities are working together to serve and protect the well-being of our residents. The City of Franklin is doing its part to serve and respond effectively to the needs of the community. All City of Franklin departments remain open and all public services are fully operational and are focused on maintaining the health, safety and welfare of our citizens and City team members.

City Facilities have undergone extensive cleaning and to reduce possible exposure to the public and the entries to City facilities have been reduced; City Hall has been reduced to two entry points. We encourage anyone needing to pay utility bills to do so online, over the phone, or through our drop box located on Second Ave South.  During this time, The City has waived service fees for all credit card and online payments.  The City has also decided not to do any water cut-offs during this time.

All City Parks are currently open; however, all City park events through the end of April have been cancelled or postponed.  You can find other event postponements and cancellations on our website.

While the City of Franklin continues to operate according to current CDC guidelines regarding public gatherings, we are also working to make sure our meetings are available to the public.  The City is planning accommodations for public participation and viewing through remote capabilities. All meetings are also streamed live on Facebook, YouTube and our website.

In accordance with guidance from the Tennessee Supreme Court, in person Franklin City Court proceedings through March 31st are postponed. For rescheduled dates, visit our website or contact the office at franklincitycourt@franklintn.gov or 615-794-5362.

“Just as our residents, all of us at the City of Franklin are concerned about the Covid-19 outbreak,” stated City Administrator Eric Stuckey.  “Our plan is to continue operations as normally as possible while being vigilant about the health and safety of the community and our City team. The City of Franklin stands ready to meet the needs of our citizens and closely with federal, state, and local partners.”

The City has created a website with up-to-date information on City services, including a daily video vlog by Mayor Ken Moore and City Administrator Eric Stuckey and links to authoritative sources regarding the Covid-19 outbreak.   The site can be found at: www.FranklinTN.gov/Covid-19.  General questions regarding city services can be sent to CityofFranklin@FranklinTN.gov or by calling 615-791-3217.
