Franklin Police arrest three cloned credit card suspects after call from alert Kroger clerk

Franklin Police credit an alert Kroger employee with helping to take down a group of suspects from Michigan and Ohio who were committing credit card fraud. The clerk called police at about 4:00 Saturday afternoon after noticing three individuals making a series of suspicious credit card purchases. The suspects left prior to officers arriving but the Kroger employee provided a good description of the them and their vehicle.

A short time later, officers spotted the trio as they were arriving at the Murfreesboro Road Kroger. Detectives ultimately searched their vehicle and found several cloned credit cards, recent purchases from Walmart, Target, and Kroger, along with a large amount of cash & an electronic credit card encoder.

Charged with Criminal Simulation, Malik Hakim, Alaigeh Travernier, and Dierra Hamid are being held on $50k bonds in the Williamson County Jail. They are due in court on July 25. Additional charges are expected.
