Franklin Celebrates Arbor Day

Saturday, April 20 at Pinkerton Park

Post Date:04/17/2019 10:30 AM

Franklin—Please join The Franklin Tree Commission and the City of Franklin Parks Department for tons of fun in the trees! Join us for free tree saplings, kids’ activities, tree climbing, food trucks and more at Pinkerton Park in Franklin on Saturday, April 20, from 10am-2pm.

“It may be a little cool on Saturday but bring a jacket and come experience some fun with the entire family at Pinkerton Park,” said Parks Director Lisa Clayton.  “This is a great opportunity to learn more about the value of trees and for the kids to get out and enjoy our park.  Attendees will also get to see our new ADA friendly pavilion with a ping-pong table!”
