The City of Franklin recognizes the importance of trees in a municipal environment.
Trees are highly valued assets that enhance the surrounding environment and can reduce noise, air pollution, and provide energy saving shade and cooling.A healthy tree population can promote a positive community image and add to a great quality of life. Older trees can hold irreplaceable historical value.

The City of Franklin’s Arborist is positioned to facilitate a tree management plan and encourage the City Government and its citizens to understand the importance of trees in today’s ever increasing urban environment.

The City is proud to be recognized and designated as a TREE CITY, USA.
