The utility payment dropbox on Second Avenue is inoperable until further notice. Please make payments inside City Hall between 8am and 5pm.  There is free 15 minute parking outside the office between the 2nd Ave. parking garage and city hall.  You can also make payments online at  or set up a bank draft by calling 615-794-4572.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

To Visit Franklin Police Headquarters
We are located at 900 Columbia Avenue in downtown Franklin. Visitor parking is located on the south side of Headquarters off of Plaza Street.  


Fingerprinting Law Enforcement Accreditation
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office provides fingerprinting for residents on Tuesdays and Thursdays, between 8:30am and 3:30pm, no appointment is necessary. For more information visit their website, or call (615) 790-5575.


Those Requiring Special Assistance 
If someone at your home or business has special needs (a handicap, oxygen use, etc.), that information can be placed on file, in advance, with our Emergency Communications Center by calling (615) 794-2513. Information you provide will be relayed to first responders who are called to your location in the event of an emergency.
