SENIOR BINGO

Eastern Flank Event Facility
The City of Franklin Parks Department will be offering senior bingo on Tuesdays in March & April! Bingo cards and light refreshments will be provided.

ARBOR DAY

 The City of Franklin Parks Department along with the Franklin Tree Commission invites you to celebrate Arbor Day with us on Saturday April 21, 2018 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at Pinkerton Park (405 Murfreesboro Road, Franklin, TN 37064).  Please join us for tons of fun in the trees with opportunities in tree climbing,  kids’ activities, food, information and free tree saplings.

Touch a Truck

Jim Warren Park-May 18, 2018 Trucks, tractors, machines, police cars and more!  Enjoy entertainment, music and bounce houses!  Food trucks will be onsite for purchase. There will be a "No Horn Hour" from 5pm-6pm for the little ones!  Trucks, equipment, and vehicles of all shapes and sizes will gather at Jim Warren Park where children of all ages, with parent supervision, will be welcome to touch, climb-on, and explore these amazing pieces of equipment.  Music, inflatables and fun will also be available at this free family event.  Food will also be available for purchase.  Fire trucks, police cars, tractors, back hoes, tow trucks, and more! Kids Arts Festival

June 2, 2018 Pinkerton Park 10a-1pm
We welcome all Tennessee K-12th grade artists to apply to display your original pieces in this juried exhibit.  We will accept and include a wide variety of art pieces in multi-media platforms.  Winning pieces will be displayed at City Hall in downtown Franklin throughout the summer months.  This event includes stage performers who can act, sing, play an instrument or write poetry!  Click her for the 2018 performance application.  Attendees will have fun with many hands on workshops and more!  Click here for more info.

Bring a chair or pack a blanket and come to Pinkerton Park (405 Murfreesboro Rd.) for an evening movie! This free summer movie series will begin at 8PM or at sunset. Concessions items will be available for purchase. Check our Facebook page (City of Franklin, TN) for updates. We hope to see you under the stars!  New this summer....Outdoor Movie Night for ages 21 & Up! This addition to the summer movie in the park series will be held at the Eastern Flank Event Facility (1368 Eastern Flank Circle). Concessions items will be available for purchase at this event!

This event includes a Petting zoo, inflatable zone, fall festival, face painting, hay rides, food trucks, horse demostrations, crafts, pony rides, miniature train rides and more.  For more information go here!

FLASHLIGHT CANDY CANE HUNT


DECEMBER 14 | EASTERN FLANK EVENT FACILITY | 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

The grounds of Eastern Flank Battlefield Park are sprinkled with candy canes ready to be eaten...grab your flashlight and help us hunt for the holiday treats! Kids will decorate treat bags for their candy canes before the hunt. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served. Participants must bring a flashlight, and all other supplies will be provided. Feel free to dawn a festive outfit for the event! This event is limited to 100 participants and pre-registration & entry fee will be required.  Registration begins November 2.  Please note that the Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt require pre-registration. There is a charge associated with the Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt event.
