Mark your calendars for the following activities and events around the community that will commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Franklin during the Civil War. The City of Franklin will be the focus in 2014 of the State Sesquicentennial. Check this page often for information and scheduled programs and events.

April 5, 2014                                 Civil War Trust Volunteer Day- Trail Building 
                                                         and Vegetation Removal - 8:30 - noon. 
                                                          Eastern Flank                        
November 8, 2014                       "Incident at Fort Granger" Outdoor Play held on the back porch at

       Eastern Flank Event Facility at 1368 Eastern Flank Circle
        (bring a lawn chair and dress for the cold)   3pm

November  14, 2014                     Tennessee Sesquicentennial Commission Event-The Factory and Eastern Flank.

November 14, 2014                       Blue and Gray Days- Carnton, Carter House and Eastern Flank

November 15 & 16, 2014              Battle of Franklin Re-enactment -Eastern Flank Battle Park- This is a ticketed event.                                                              Eastern Flank Park will be closed for this event.
