Our Mission
To create and maintain public safety in the City of Franklin. We do so with focused attention on preventing and reducing crime, enforcing the law and apprehending criminals.

To Visit Franklin Police Headquarters
We are located at 900 Columbia Avenue in downtown Franklin. Visitor parking is located on the south side of Headquarters off of Plaza Street.
Fingerprinting Fingerprinting services are free to Franklin residents Monday - Friday (excluding holidays) from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. You are required to bring your valid Tennessee Driver's License and your own fingerprint cards. If you do not have fingerprint cards, please contact the agency requesting your fingerprints to obtain the proper cards. For additional information, call (615) 550-6815
, no appointment is necessary. Those residing outside of the corporate city limits of Franklin should contact their local police or sheriff's department for assistance.
Those Requiring Special Assistance
If someone at your home or business has special needs (a handicap, oxygen use, etc.), that information can be placed on file, in advance, with our Emergency Communications Center by calling (615) 794-2513
. Information you provide will be relayed to first responders who are called to your location in the event of an emergency.
